Welcome to the website of Katy Clough!

My research focusses on testing the limits of general relativity and the Standard Model of particle physics, in particular using the numerical simulations of the early Universe and the interaction of fundamental fields and particles with black holes. I am passionate about communicating my research to non specialist audiences, in particular with the aim of encouraging underrepresented groups to pursue careers in theoretical physics and cosmology.
